Instalation by Claudio Silvestrin to coincide with 100% Design week. Held in London 2002. This exhibit explores the possibilities created by combining traditional techniques and natural materials allied to the designs of one of the most original and visionary arcitects working today.

The seven rugs named "Seven Animals" designed by Claudio Silvestrin for Christopher Farr draws attention to the beauty of raw material, to an animal presence, to the skill of hand crafts and, ultimately, to the wonder of nature. Thus design loses its established governing role : it is no longer the mentor of what is beautiful. In this project Claudio Silvestrin is neither an architect nor designer but simply a messenger.
